Potential guests can access this information from area websites and by visiting enabled visitor centers or local kiosks. Inventory Management
Lodging inventories and other promotional offerings are maintained by the individual businesses through a secure web interface. Information may be updated at any time and all changes are effective immediately.
Please note that this tools allows for separate rates for each night and also allows the lodge to set the daily “offer expiration”. The same form also lets an image be uploaded (automatically sized appropriately) and has inputs for additional details about the offer. Each offer links to detailed descriptions about the property which is also managed by the business. Details like amenities, driving directions, maps, dining facilities and additional images. Again, all images are sized by the system to ensure ease of use by the establishment and a consistent attractive display.
Not only is inventory distributed to multiple community outlets, but these offers may be included on a businesses own website through html or xml.
Booking Process
The booking process is conducted in a secure and efficient process. There are never any 3rd part advertisements or links to draw your customers away from your site. Current offers are presented in a variety of formats and once chosen, the process is very simple and straightforward.
The credit card being used is first authorized by our system and upon verification a printable receipt is generated and an email sent to the guest with offer details. At the same time a confirmation is faxed to the business, an email is sent and complete order information is available from the businesses management area.
Commission payments are aggregated and paid on a monthly basis by direct deposit.
Affiliates/Partners
The system also supports participation by partner websites or other outlets. Depending on the agreed upon parameters, affiliates can sign up at any time to also offer these timely promotions. Affiliates can be travel agents, kiosk providers, area websites, area businesses and even lodges themselves.
Commission payments are made automatically each month by direct deposit. Full reporting is available through the affiliate's own management area.
Ecomshare is fully responsible for all server upkeep, hosting fees and regular updates/enhancements. Ecomshare also pays transaction fees for all affiliate direct deposits as well as for those direct deposit payments to and from the chamber. Additionally, Ecomshare pays for all confirmation faxes.
